| I had these spacers made to adapt a Pre-85 SBC intake manifold to center bolt (86+) heads. The center 2 bolts on the intake manifold to head are at a 72 deg angle on the 86+ engines. I've see people just slot the holes in the intake manifold and bolt it down but I didn't like that solution since the bolt head doesn't sit flat on the surface. These angled spacers allow the bolt had to sit flat and secure so bolt strength and sealing integrity are not compromised. |
